April 9th-Oct 9th: Mya's half birthday

On April 9th, Mya turned 6 months old. I can hardly believe it. She is getting so big. We took her to the doctor's office on the 8th and she weighed in at 14 lbs. 14 oz. (28 percentile) and is 26 1/2 inches long (81 percentile). The doctor says she is healthy and crazy strong. We already knew that. She has incredible abs. She has been sitting up for the past two weeks and we love it. She will play by herself a lot longer because she can reach her toys. She has two teeth coming in and lets us know it if you know what I mean. Her hair continues to grow only on top which accentuates her mohawk (well, I guess she does have a soul patch of brown hair on the back). Our friend Tiffany took the first three pictures/collages. Thanks Tiffany! We took the rest on her half birthday. Enjoy!

As for Tim and me, our lives should be slowly getting back to normal. I finished student teaching on Friday. Although I was sad to say goodbye to some of my students, I am glad to be done. I can focus on other things now. We move in less than a month and we can't wait. Tim has finals in a week and a half and I graduate quickly after. Last night we went to President Samuelson's "Senior Celebration" and although we didn't win any great prizes, we won some delicious candy.
