Miami: Matt and Christa

We were so excited to get to Miami for a number of reasons: 1. To see Matt and Christa 2. To get away from Provo 3. To get away from our JOBS! 4. To get a tan 5. To be lazy 6. To sleep in 7. To read novels aloud to each other 8. To spend time on the beach (Just to name a few) We have always enjoyed talking with Matt and Christa at Doot family functions but this weekend was a great time for us to get to know them better. We had so much fun touring Miami and eating Cuban food with them. We also had a wonderful Mother's day with them.

Together we enjoyed watching Mya experience a lot of firsts:
First wave
First real crawl
First bikini
First dip in the ocean
First time eating sand
First time eating watermelon

Thanks again for all the fun. We had the best time being in your company. I know there are tons of posts from our trip but we had over 800 pictures and I really feel I've done a great job narrowing them down. Take a peek at all of them. You will be amazed at all we did in one week.

Don't mind the pregnant stance. I realize I have terrible posture. On one of my student evaluations, one of my students wrote that one thing I could improve on was my posture. I was so embarrassed and have really tried to improve. Obviously, I failed in this picture.

    Your pictures are looking great! LOVE IT! I love the ones of Tim and Mya at the beach... the colors are perfect. It's so cool that you were able to do all this fun stuff with Mya- she's quite the trooper! Miss you guys- we'll have to get together when we come home!

    Next time you go to Florida, I'm going as your nanny. How much fun did you have?! I loved the Holocaust Memorial Sculpture. It was frightening and extremely powerful! What an amazing trip. The pictures were fabulous. I loved your polka dot bikini! And Mya's too!

    We had so much fun with you guys! We wish we were going to the beach with you again this weekend. I love your pictures; at the beach, Mya on the swing, the city of Miami, the baby alligator.

    You guys are so tan and I now think you suck. First off...I am prety sure I saw a nipple in those pics, best post ever cuz of it! Also, who knew Tim had such big guns??! Impressed and jealous, yeah that's me!!! So glad you guys had fun!!
