Miami: Miami Beach and Bill Baggs National Park

On Monday, we started the day by driving about a mile from our hotel to a prime spot to watch airplanes land. Mya loves airplanes. After we headed to Miami beach to check out the Art Deco District, Española Way and the famous Miami Beach. We strolled down the historic Española Way and enjoyed the bright colors and Spanish speaking. We then headed to Ocean Blvd. and walked along the modern hotels and restaurants. We ate by the beach and played with Mya for a little while before heading to Bill Baggs National Park at the end of Key Biscayne. We also saw the famous Versace mansion for all of you fashion gurus and the Holocaust Memorial. The memorial was inspiring. We read all the stories and looked at the pictures and again remembered how truly lucky we are to live in a free country. The main scultpture was graphic and thought-provoking. You will have to take a look at it below. At Bill Baggs, the water was crystal clear and calm. It was so warm that Mya loved sitting in the water and splashing around.

It looks like something out of a comic book.
