Mya knows Spanish

As some or most of you may know, Janine and I both speak Spanish. We have thought that this would be a great skill to pass on to Mya. We have tried to teach her words like: leche (milk), vení (come here), te amo (I love you) and other simple phrases. Well, other than leche (Mya seems to think with her stomach at times...don't know where she got that...) she has finally learned the little phrase, "Dame un besito".

As some of you may know, this means: give me a kiss. Others of you that actually know Mya would realize that there is a snowballs chance in... you know where... that she would actually show affection towards something other than her large stuffed animal bear. So, the mere fact that we were able to teach Mya to kiss is amazing. The fact that she responds to the Spanish command... a Christmas miracle.
