While it may not be politically correct to make an Indian crown to teach Mya about Thanksgiving, that is how I learned and I thought it would be a fun activity for us the other day. I started teaching Mya about pilgrims and Indians and got as far as the feather headpiece when she stopped listening and began twirling around my kitchen whispering, "I am an Indian princess." I guess I will have to teach her about Thanksgiving another day.
