We had a cozy little weekend over here in Peoria. I hope you did too. I've loved this Christmas season. I confess I am a little nervous to take down the tree and put away the decorations because I don't know how I will get Mya to do anything anymore. It was so easy to say, "If you don't do this or you aren't nice to your sister, Santa can't bring us any presents." Here's hoping she just decides to be obedient next year.
Tim has the entire week off. Can you believe it? It's a dream. We slept in until 7:30 this morning. That almost never happens. We don't have the funds to visit family so we decided to stay local during his little vacation. Sometimes the best vacations happen at home. You can bet that I am already planning a romantic night in for New Year's Eve. We'll put the kids to bed as usual and just spend some much needed alone time together as we watch the ever ailing Dick Clark and sip sparkling cider. Well, I hope you had the happiest of holidays and that you are avoiding the crazy return lines on this day after Christmas. Happy Monday. Take a look at the crazy chatter in my head today:
