no fancy schmancy names needed
Most of my favorite blog authors have endearing nicknames for their husbands, and rarely do they refer to them by their real names. See that man right there...that's Tim. He doesn't need a fancy schmancy blog name. I do have one very special nickname for him, but I don't really want anyone else to use it when referring to him so I will keep that one a secret. I tried to think of a fun name to call him on the blog, but I'd just rather call him Tim. It's more me, and I guess it sort of breaks the normal blog lingo.
Tim is the family favorite in this house. He is the apple of my eye. He stole my heart over five years ago and still makes me weak in the knees when he's all dressed up in his button down shirt or when he wears that silly ball cap. He is also the preferred parent. I don't really mind. I know my peanuts love me, but boy do they ADORE their daddy. The other day V woke up from her nap and hugged him so tight. She wouldn't let go of his over-sized sweatshirt. Mya waits for Tim, usually known as Prince Phillip, to come home from work so he can twirl with her in the living room.
I guess that's what happens when you are the only male in a female-dominated household. We hope to one day bring another little Timmy into our house, but until then...Tim will always steal the show.
