groovy

Happy New Year! I hope you have a groovy night.

I'm not really brokenhearted about saying goodbye to 2011. Although it was a really good year because we welcomed a new little peanut into our home and graduated from our Provo station, 2011 gave us our fair share of struggles. I am really anxious for 2012; I just have a hunch that good things are going to come our way. I feel hopeful as I think of some of the goals I set for myself and for our family.

Some of my 2012 resolutions (You don't really think I would tell you all of them. A girl has to have a few secrets):
  • floss at least three times a week
  • wear makeup at least four times a week
  • follow a meal plan
  • exercise at least four times a week
  • kiss Tim a lot
  • make a new friend, hopefully more
  • sew at least one thing
  • begin piano lessons
  • find blog sponsors
  • figure out how to really use my camera
  • read 15 new books
  • take a college class
  • finish my parents' biography
  • start my memoir outline
  • stick to my budget
  • find some fashion sense

  1. Flossing only 3 times a week?!?!?!? Jer says that is unacceptably lady. Everyday! :)

  2. Just clicked through from Nat the Fat Rat's comments and I DIED over your header! Too cute! I love your resolutions! Especially finishing a biography and a memoirs outline--I'm a writer too, so those totally caught my eye. ;)

    Love,

  3. @ames-tell jer that 3x a week is so much better than 0 times. I've been terrible since Genevieve was born. Congrats by the way.

@ Sarah- I love your blog and your writing. I read it all the time.
