Who really fights about that anyway?: Lori

What do you do when you don't get asked to your junior prom? You dress up as if you had been asked and go to dinner with your best gal pals. That's what we did. My next guest blogger, Lori,  joined me and another friend at a swanky restaurant in Scottsdale as we drowned our sorrows of not being asked to the dance in delicious food. She was one of my best friends in high school, and I wish we lived closer because I know we would would be running buddies if it was possible.

Do you remember the reason behind your first fight?  How did you make up?

Our first fight was actually in the broom aisle at Target.  We had just gotten home from our honeymoon and had taken our loot of Target giftcards to the store to try to stock our apartment.  I picked out a "stylish" looking broom (if there is such a thing) that I wanted and he insisted that we buy the green Mrs. Libman broom that his mom had always used growing up.  We duked it out right there in the middle of the aisle and in the end, he won and we got the ugly green broom.  It's a good thing too because it really is a good broom and it is the kind I still use, 8 years later.  I'm not really sure how exactly we made up but we were newlyweds...fresh off the honeymoon so you can probably imagine what happened.

i will be featuring different pieces of some of my favorite bloggers and readers' love stories throughout the month of February since it is the month of love and all. So don't be alarmed if you have lots of posts from me this month. Happy "love" making, and I mean that in the cleanest way.
