We've been busy around these corners with these four little princesses and the new baby. My best friend Whit came into town to cradle and love the new baby and she brought her two girls along with her. Needless to say, the house is in a constant state of chaos. These peanuts frequently change into different princess costumes, shiny shoes and hair accessories.
They run through our house in their sparkly flats and all I hear is clunk, clunk, clunk of happy feet of giddy children. Elle has been angelic and slept through all of the noise. While some may shake their heads at the idea of having a houseful of females right after birthing a child, it has actually been nice for the girls. They needed a distraction and Whit's girls came at the perfect time. Whit has also been the perfect company for me as I try to recover and enjoy baby girl. She is one of the best moms I know so I am constantly learning from her. She keeps my feet grounded and steady as I tackle all my new mom challenges.
