Happy Daddy's Day

Before the day is over, I wanted to wish all the dads and soon to be dads a Happy Father's Day. We have had a great day here eating waffles, pasta and steaks. I am always amazed by the leadership of the great men that are posted below. I am ever grateful to be my father's daughter. He was the man in my life for so many years and I grew to love him more than I can say. I am grateful to my father-in-law. He taught my husband how to be sweet and kind. Tim is a cardboard cutout of his father and I love every minute of it. I am also grateful for my two grandparents. I am lucky to have both of them. I have looked up to them and laughed with them through the years. I am also grateful for Jared and Dave. They are amazing fathers. And Rusty, my friend...you love Whitney and Baby Avey in a way that only one who is loved the same way can understand. I admire you and think you will continue to be a great dad. And finally, my husband and best friend, thank you for everything. Thank you for wrapping Mya and putting her to bed faithfully every night. Thank you for changing her poopy diapers when I cannot. Thank you for being the best dad a girl could ever have. She loves you as I do. Not as much but close. Thank you for being the husband I only ever dreamed of. I love you. Happy Father's day.

Mya wanted to wish daddy a happy father's day.
We began the father's day celebration with empanadas de jamón y queso (ham and cheese) last night.
We ate delicious waffles, strawberries, cream and sausage this morning.

  2. Ok, seriously...I cried. Maybe it's because I'm a little emotional right now, or maybe it's because you're a master blogger. Either way...you're good

  4. Empanadas! Holy shat Janine, I love them. I recently had the best empanada of my life in Phoenix. It was chock full of vegetables and goat cheese. I can't begin to describe the yumminess. Happy Father's Day Tim!
