family night

I love Monday nights. They are our family nights. To be honest, we have family night every night but we try to teach Mya little life lessonS on Mondays, which I guess sets the day apart from the rest. We've taught her about things she struggles with such as hygiene, reverence, patience and respect. Last night we talked about prophets.

We sat on our lawn chairs enjoying the evening breeze, and she asked questions about prophets. I answered them in the best way I knew how to teach a three year old (I often feel inadequate at this part). The lesson lasted about 4 minutes. I call that a success.

  1. I would definitely call that a success too! Family home evening is so important, even at three years old!

  3. I love that you have a night to teach your children something valuable. I'm keeping this in mind for future reference. ;)
