You see--I took this nutrition class during my sophomore year at college and it basically turned me away from fast and bad food. Once you learn how many fat grams are in each of the deceptively delicious treats, you think differently about how you eat. At least I do.
All this being said, I have had the worst cravings for thick, juicy hamburgers. Not the McDonalds or Wendy's kind of burger. No, no. I only want burgers from pubs because they make hamburgers to perfection in my mind. Every night when I think of what to make for dinner, I secretly wish Tim would suggest going to a restaurant because I want a burger. But alas, he doesn't and I am forced to make a healthier meal for our little family.
Last night I was reading some articles on the web and came across this article about the eleven worst burgers in America. Intrigued, I opened the article and gasped when I considered how many fat grams I had sliding down to my thighs because of my naughty craving. I decided that I will have to forgo my burger itch if I want to keep my waistline secure. It's just too bad that meat and cheese are my favorite combination.
If you are like me, you should probably read the article. If not, be proud of yourself.
Yowza! 1900 calories in one burger? Thats insane! I LOVE hamburgers too and was happy to see that my favorite In n Out Burger wasn't on the list. I also dont mind making them at home and can control how healthy they are that way too.
