Wild thing...you make my heart sing
Doesn't she look like the little guy from the "Where the wild things are" movie? She is my little wild thing. She is always up to something. I guess that is what I love about her. I was thinking about the wildest thing I have ever done? I have done so many crazy things I don't know which one to choose. I am almost ashamed to admit a few of them, but here goes nothing.
1. I took a dare and danced on a table at my first BYU dance. Oh freshman year...the shame.
2. I told my husband I wasn't going to go paragliding in Switzerland but did it anyway. I have never regretted this one. It was definitely wild.
3. I backpacked for six weeks with my best friend in Europe.
4. I once kissed a boy on the cheek without ever talking to him before or after.
5. I once turned off my cell phone for two days and checked into a hotel just to get away from people.
6. I started and completed 80 pages of a romance novel as a senior in high school.
I am sure some of you are scoffing at my lame attempts to be wild. Like I said, I am too ashamed to admit some of them. What is the wildest thing you have ever done?
Side note: Jari...I miss you. I know you are one of my faithful followers, and I just wanted to say hi. I am thinking of you. I always go to call you but realize it is late there and I miss my opportunity. Not tonight.

Janine - I've missed you too. I can't tell you how happy I was to see your note! I have many times started to call you as well but know how precious your time is and never want to intrude. I even have a letter I've written you (you know how good I am at actually getting them into the mail)because I wanted to talk one day and didn't have my phone with me to call.
ReplyDeleteI do follow your blog faithfully. It's my way of keeping in touch. Thanks for caring enough to write. I promise to be in touch with you soon!
