A little bit of thanks...

We had a great time visiting AZ last weekend. Mya and I were lucky enough to arrive a few days before the holiday and spent some quality time with my parents. My parents have only seen Mya a couple of times since her birth, and it makes me sad. I want Mya to know both sets of grandparents. I guess that is why I post so much. I want them to know her too. She has so many faces. So many moods. So many crazy talents. So many little habits. And I feel it is necessary to post as much as possible for those who do not see her regularly.

Tim joined us on Wednesday. Let me tell you...flying alone with a crying baby and spending two days alone with her made me really appreciate single moms and DADS! I love Tim. He is not only the best husband...but the best dad. The moment he arrived, she was so excited to see him. We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving feast with all the delectable trimmings. No pictures...sorry. It was probably the same food you ate. We spent time with my parents, my brother and my grandparents. I loved seeing everyone. We even had a special guest, Kevin. Kevin joined Tim on the drive down and spent most of the weekend with us.

We joined the ranks of crazies on Black Friday. We hit some good deals. I was happy. So was Mya. She brightened so many grumpy people's day. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the weekend.

Here are a couple that I edited. I just loved the following picture. I love how my brother is throwing his head back. We laughed so much this weekend. Thank you brother. Love you. Mya misses you.

  2. I love the look on Mya's face when she is with your Great Grandpa and when she is on that silver thingy at the park. Did your parents put up holiday decor for your early Christmas?

  4. Wonderful photo. You are the 2nd blog I have ever visited, E+T was the first. I may become a faithful blogger after all. So very fun to see your beautiful Mya, even if they are only still shots. I also enjoyed seeing your parents again.
    Keep me posted!
