our weekend away

We spent last weekend with Tim's parents and Anna in Vegas. Tim's parents were there for a work convention and invited us to spend a few days with them before the convention started. Minus the raging tantrums at 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. by Mya, the trip was simple and fun. We spent time visiting, eating and sight seeing. Of course, Tim and I would've loved to see some of the shows that were offered, but that will have to wait. Mya makes night activities a little difficult. So we stuck with the free daytime shows. Mya liked the mermaid show, but she loved seeing the tiger exhibit at the MGM. My daughter is a sucker for big, furry animals. That may be why she likes Tim so much. We took a lot of random pictures. Of course, Mya was opposed to smiling for any of them, but I feel like we got a few good ones. Enjoy. Oh...and...p.s....I colored my hair. So yes, that's me. And yes, I love the change.





We spent one afternoon/evening with three kind gentlemen from India: Anand, Tushar & Rajesh. They work for the same company Tim's dad does and were in town for the convention. We hope they enjoyed the craziness of Las Vegas.

    Glad you had fun J. I've been thinking about you. Hoping that you're feeling good. Guess what? Random thing- the other night I was at my cousin's watching the BYU basketball game, and there was a girl there that was talking and acting JUST like Kristin. Weird. So I tried to stop thinking it- but I couldn't, so finally right before she left I asked what her maiden name was- of course, she said, "bishop". HA! Kristin's sister- Kaitlin! Funny. Small world. They looked/sounded/talked alike. So funny.
