Morning. It's only 8:02 in the morning and my little mama has already decided to take her morning nap and Mya has too many boogies to want to do anything but watch Disney Junior. I will take this unusually quiet moment to write for a minute before I begin my daily chores. I hope Mya perks up soon because I really want to dance to Sarah McLachlan's Christmas cd. We've made it a habit to dance to at least three Christmas songs while V sleeps. Evidence of our dancing dates appeared yesterday during the last hymn at church when Mya decided it was really important to twirl like a ballerina instead of sit quietly on the bench. Perhaps we should've stopped her, but instead Tim and I just sat there and grinned. She can be very cute when she wants to be.
I hope you all have a fantastic Monday whether you are rallying your energy to go to work or to stay home with the kiddos. Here is some of the chatter going on in my head this morning:
I loved this article and felt it fit nicely with my current series "Comfortable in your own skin": What a scale can't measure
I found this literary website a little while ago and really enjoy reading their essays: The New Inquiry
I wish I had 115 bones to purchase this lovely pair of wedges: Mustard wedges
I hope to create these cute little Christmas ornaments with Mya this week: little penguins
Being a country girl at heart, I just can't get enough of this song: you and taquila
can we skype and craft those little penguins together? Those are adorable. Also, I love those wedges - let me see if I can find you something similar for cheaper :) xoxo
