Morning. I trust you had a relaxing weekend. If not, plan one for this next weekend. You won't regret it. The best part of my weekend...you wonder? Definitely the $8 cheap date Tim treated me to on Friday. We swapped babysitting with another couple, used a gift card for dinner and walked around the newly opened Bass Pro Shop for entertainment. Let me tell you...you see all kinds in that store. I'm sure people thought the same of us since we were among the minority not dressed in camouflage or sporting an outdated hair style.
Reasons to locate the nearest Bass Pro Shop in your city:
the man with two dragons tattooed on his neck with his special someone's name etched in between
a frighteningly large cat fish with massive teeth
a camouflage couch for sale (it was really comfortable...bring a blanket and take a nap)
the chicken sopping sauce that looked a little too tempting
the woman with the killer mullet
every man's dream giftcard on display
mr. grizzly teaching his boy to hunt at an early age
where man can face his true enemy--the bear
the woman with the poofy half ponytail and bad posture selling gun safes
the man of your dreams holding a large gun and looking sexy doing so
a girl who has obviously never held a gun before
the nice man with hair dangling from his weather-worn ball cap
Do you need more convincing to check it out? Well, let's see how I can bait you to the store. They have an awesome "Shootin Range" that allows anyone to handle heavy machinery. What man wouldn't love that? Each section of the store has its own scent. I found that a little strange and wonderful at the same time. The women's section of the store actually had a few items I would be interested in purchasing such as a long pea coat and some hiking pants. And well, I think you would just laugh a lot. What more do you really need? I dare say not much.
Well, enough with the promotional gig and on to way more important things. Here's my Monday chatter, enjoy:
