We are quarantined to the house for the next few days. Mya may or may not have the chicken pox, and I feel it's important to avoid any chance encounters with little ones. I am still trying to determine what is happening with her, but until I know the cause of the recent rash spotting her body, we will be home bound. This is quite possibly the worst news for any small child when all they want to do is visit splash parks and children's museums. Unamused by my announcement this morning, Mya just stared blankly and asked, "Well, what are we going to do then?"
Trying to keep utter chaos from breaking out in my house, I decided to make homemade vanilla cupcakes with the girls. It was a really fun activity that lasted over an hour. Only problem: now I have a dozen cupcakes that I will probably snack on a little too often when the peanuts are screaming.
