fall in Madison

I'm terrified to travel anywhere (grocery store included) with three kids. The idea sends chills to my bones so last week I decided to venture to Madison to visit my dear friend and her little girl while my mom was still with me. I knew I'd need an extra pair of hands...and boy did they come in handy. My friend Eliza has visited me on two separate occasions in Milwaukee and I've been aching to get to Madison to return the visit.

We had a great time even though the weather didn't want to cooperate. We were even able to take a walk and enjoy the leaves. I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore reddish orange leaves. They are my favorite part of fall...that and the smell of pumpkin chocolate chip bread.

  1. Ah, yes the fear of getting out with wee ones...I know EXACTLY how that feels! I'd rather be stuck and get cabin fever! mmm, I can just smell the fall air from these pics, beautiful!
