well, i had an unfortunate run-in with a bee the other day. it was a rainy sunday and we were stuck indoors. trying to entertain the peanuts, tim and i decided to make sugar cookies. i went into our front room to look for something and on my way back to the kitchen, i felt a sharp sting pierce the palm of my left hand. freaked...i ran screaming into the kitchen (tim said it was more like high stepping) and waved my hands in the air. i had no idea what had happened. tim went in the front room and found the bee lying on the floor.
i had been stung by a bee. i couldn't believe it. i had made it 28+ years running around avoiding the nasty bullies and fell victim to one in the comfort of my own living room. tim killed it and sprayed every nook and cranny of the living room to ease my troubled nerves.
what an unfortunate event. i was surprised that the sting didn't actually hurt all that bad. yes it was terribly painful for a good half hour, but then the pain went away. not too bad. i still don't like the flying pests, but i don't think i am scared of them anymore.
