Do you remember my Monday morning chatter? Do you miss it? I scrapped my blog schedule a few months back while I battle the terrible nausea and persistent headaches that come with my pregnancies. I tried to keep up with everything I worked so hard to create on the blog, but something had to give. Thus, I distanced myself from a rigid schedule and posted when I wasn't feeling awful.
Well, I'm not feeling awful anymore. Tired, but not awful so I thought I would bring back my Monday morning chatter. I hope you won't mind. To bring it back with a bang, I thought I would play one of my favorite games to play with Mya. It's called "Fact or Fiction," and I've done it before on this blog post.
Fact: I have the nagging desire to make sugar cookies.
Fact: If I do make sugar cookies, I may never lose this baby weight.
Fact: The extra baby weight this time around is really toying with my brain and my emotions.
Fact: Halloween is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays.
Fact: I can tell the "six week rule" post labor is really waning on my marriage.
Fact: I am totally stressed again with baseball's post-season. Thanks Tigers.
Fact: I was not prepared for cold weather to attack so soon.
Fact: My baby is already four weeks old and time has decided not to comply with my wishes to slow down.
Fact: My peanuts picked out their Halloween pumpkins this afternoon, and I love their choices.
Fact: I really need to make a good friend here; I am lonely.
Fact: The presidential election really needs to be over soon.
Fiction: Mya and her battitude didn't annoy me all day today.
Fiction: Mya telling me daily that I'm still chubby doesn't make me want to avoid food forever.
Fiction: I no longer have a Kit-Kat craving.
Fiction: V's short naps are always welcome.
Fiction: I love that we never go out to eat anymore. I don't miss being served at all.
Fiction: A cup of silk satisfies my craving for Oreo milkshakes.
Here's my Monday chatter:
My favorite address from one of my favorite religious leaders: The First Great Commandment
I'd love to wear this shirt, especially in this color: Exotic Textured 3/4 Sleeve Blouse
This meal is on the menu this week: Broiled Parmesan and Lemon Chicken
We've been doing a lot of crafts around these parts to avoid mindless fighting: Salt Dough Ghosts
I know it's overplayed, but I find this song so soothing: I won't give up
Ha, love the fact/fiction! And definitely a welcome return for your Monday morning chatter!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on meeting some new friends - have to checked out any mommy/baby groups? I knew NO ONE except my husband when we moved back to his home country, and it took me three years - THREE YEARS - to finally meet some people I felt I could call my friends - it's so difficult once you leave high school/college, and I completely understand how it feels! x
I love Monday am chatter....and am going to try the ghosts.
ReplyDeletei say 9 months to put it on, 9 months to get it off & boo to anyone who says differently, even if they are 4.
