**I suppose this is what every family looks like on a holiday--huddled around an iPad doing FaceTime with family far away.
We also took advantage of the extra hands to visit the Fort Worth Zoo. We had a lot of fun.

I honestly can't believe I'm this behind, but oh well. Tim's parents drove from Michigan to spend Thanksgiving with us and to meet Birdie Bea. It was a joyful reunion (my girls had been begging to see family for months). And Tim made a delicious dry-brine turkey, and we all ate until our bellies were extra full...or at least I did. ;)
