just like her dad
Genevieve loves basketball almost as much as she loves animals. Since she started basketball in January, I've gotten used to the thump, thump, thumping sound of a basketball all over the wood floors. With the harsh winter we've had, she hasn't been able to play outside so she dribbles all over the house. You'd be impressed with the fact that I have only snapped a couple of times in 3 months. I let her dribble because I know she loves it, even though my head hates it.
She loved her basketball season. She had never played prior to this year and learned so much with each game. I loved watching her box out and play tough defense; she reminded me so much of her dad. She's a scrappy little thing.
I'm glad she found another outlet. She still adores her animals, especially horses, but now she can do something around the house whenever she wants.
