After strawberry picking, we headed to Silver Beach on Lake Michigan. I love this beach. I think my kids are always stunned when I remind them this isn't the ocean, but is in fact a large lake. I think the only thing this beach experience lacks is that one-of-a-kind salty beach air, which I miss terribly. But the kids get to enjoy waves and fresh water to swim in. The beach has a playground on the sandy area and tons of volleyball nets. We love it there!
