Things I love about Mya

I am holding Mya in my arms and as I look at her I can't help but think of all the things I love about her. Here are just a few:
  • The way she sucks on nothing when she is asleep
  • Her long eyelashes
  • Her pierced ears--she is such a little diva in the making
  • The way she sighs when she has nothing to look at
  • When she laughs as she dances and watches herself in the mirror
  • How she curls her toes when she tries to sit up
  • The way she eats her oatmeal and savors every bit of the spoon
  • The way she looks at me and Tim when she hasn't seen us in awhile
  • When she waits at the kitchen window for my arrival
  • When she is wrapped like a burrito
  • When she splashes in the bathtub and soaks the floor
  • How she laughs at her Michigan mobile
  • The way she acts when she wakes up in the morning (so happy)
  • The way she cuddles into me when she cries
  • Her bottom lip when she cries (it quivers like you wouldn't believe)
  • The way she babbles when we are driving
  • The way she discovers new things (her eyes open really wide)
  • The tear that inevitably falls down her cheek when its cold outside
  • The way she rubs her eyes when she is tired
  • When she stretches out after being released from the burrito wrap-job
  • Her cute little bum and legs in a diaper (I don't know if I will get over this one. It is so cute.)
  • How happy she is when someone is holding her close
  • Her deep blue eyes (I don't know where she gets them from)
  • When her cheeks get red when she is in the sun for five minutes
  • How she focuses on Tim's intramural basketball game each week
  • The excited face she gives when she sees the bottle
  • The way she chews on her gums (teething...poor girl)
  • When she hits the keyboard and my documents get erased
  • When she helps me cook
  • When she chews on the desk while I write papers
  • How she makes it difficult to put a diaper on because she kicks her legs
  • The way she smiles at the yellow Johnson and Johnson bottle in the bathtub (we affectionately call it "her friend")
  • When she is playing with daddy and forgets anyone else is around
  • When she gives her mad face (she gets it from her momma)
  • How she hates to be woken up in the morning
  • How she wants to put everything in her mouth
  • The way she looks in her stroller (so very tiny)
  • When she does crunches (she has abs of steel)
  • How she wants to be a big girl already
  • The way she stares at other babies
  • When she grunts
  • When she holds my finger
  • When she blows bubbles
  • When she spits up on a new outfit
  • How she pulls my hair whenever she can reach it (no wonder why people cut their hair)
  • How she looks in her Sunday dresses
  • Her little belly (you'd have to see it)
  • Her voice (I love when she talks)
I got a little carried away. I can't help but love her so much. She is the sweetest little thing. I couldn't have asked for more. My cup runneth over....
