A sigh of relief...

Just a quick note because I am so happy today. Tim and I stopped managing the apartment complex last night. We trained the new managers, and I can't even begin to tell you how much of a relief that is. I have literally been working 40+ at work with only four Saturdays off since July. Tim tries to squeeze enough hours out of work between all his classes and capstone project. So managing on top of everything we were already doing was literally exhausting. One night we received 6 calls from tenants having what they called "emergencies." Tim ran back and forth to the complex so many times that night. I cried that night. And that was the night I decided we had to be done. We never had a free night to ourselves. If I made plans, we would have to cancel or postpone them because a problem always occurred. August and September months were literally horrible with managing so it is nice to be done. Relief at last. Peace out Inca Villa.

  1. good riddance! no you can breathe a huge sigh of relief.

  2. Bahaha. I laughed so hard when I read "peace out Inca Villa" During conference this weekend I was thinking about that stupid duck outside good ol' apt. 3..remember that thing???? Bahaha, I guess I should have been thinking about conference during conference, but that duck just wouldn't leave me alone

  3. yay! Speaking of Inca Villa....what's the price of rent these days and how would my sister go about applying to live there...
