i love you more than...

Tim and I love to play the game "I love you more than..."  at night as we spoon in bed and wait for sleep to take over our tired brains. If you are concerned about the cheesiness of it all, don't worry...we don't play it every night. It just happens to be one of the ways we tell each other how much we mean to each other.
[our first Valentine's Day together as a married couple]

In honor of Valentine's Day and my good-looking beau, I will play our game on the blog. Gag...if you must.

Tim,

I love you more than all the warm fuzzy slippers in my closet.
I love you more than all the french-vanilla granola on Target's shelves.
I love you more than all the salt at the bottom of the pretzel bag.
I love you more than all the purple sunsets that take my breath away.
I love you more than I love my naps.
I love you more than I love listening to loud music in the car.
I love you more than all the orange and pink starburst candies.
I love you more than all the books in my bookcase.
I love you more than I love to edit papers.
I love you more than all the SmartWater in Casey's general store.
I love you more than all the buttermilk donuts at the Provo Bakery.
I love you more than all the blog posts on this little blog of mine.
I love you more than all the Disney movies ever created.
I love you more than all the fresh lavender scented hand soap.
I love you more than I love showering in the dark.
I love you more than all the sweet crepes we create.
I love you more than my green throw blanket.
I love you more than all the Thomas Mangelson pictures we adore.
I love you more than Park City and Chicago.
I love you more than the banana pudding from Magnolia's Bakery (and you know I love that).
I love you more than all the shooting stars I see at night.
I love you more than all the creme brulee in Grand Rapids.

And hon...I love you more than anything else in the world. Happy Valentine's Day. I'll try to make it great even though I know a few key elements will be missing from our normal celebration.

Hey, I didn't see you use my post so I'm going to use it today.

If you still want one from me I'll write you a shorter one, more like the ones you already posted. I'm guessing you didn't need it because you already had so many. Love all the Valentine's posts. So awesome!!!
