monday morning chatter

Sorry for my absence this weekend. Sometimes the computer and I need space. We had a mutual agreement this weekend to avoid each other at all costs. I didn't check my blog at all this weekend. The only time I used the internet was to search for delicious recipes: german pancake with buttermilk syrup and homemade potato gnocchis with pink tomato sauce.

I took my time away from the computer to catch up on some much needed rest and reading. We also took a trip to Nauvoo with some friends. We stayed over night with them at some villas near the temple.  It was Mya's first slumber party. She and Crew slept in the same uncomfortable pull-out bed. I don't think they slept all that much because Mya was so sensitive the rest of the weekend.

I felt a lot of much needed peace this weekend. I've needed peace of mind and heart like I've needed air.
