snow

I love watching my kids discover things. It is a definite perk to parenting. It started snowing on Tuesday during the girls' naps, both girls were so excited when they woke up to the white wonderland outside. They sat banging the window in their saggy pajamas and diaper exclaiming, "Snow! Snow Mama!" I dressed them as warm as possible before heading outside for an hour. I was freezing after ten minutes but when I asked the girls to go inside, both shook their heads. We threw snowballs in the air and created snow angels with our frigid bodies before heading indoors. 

I loved my girls that day. I loved being a mom too. Thankfully, there are many of these moments everyday.
